**Awka, Anambra** – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Adaora Offor, wife of Sir Emeka Offor and Vice President of the Emeka Offor Foundation, on her conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) by Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, for her outstanding contributions to social advocacy.
Barr. Ezeokenwa described Mrs. Offor’s recognition as truly deserved, highlighting her immense dedication to serving humanity and addressing the socio-economic challenges facing women and children. He commended her significant philanthropic efforts towards widows and her strong advocacy for the indigent and neglected members of society.
The APGA National Chairman was present today at the conferment and convocation ceremony, joining Sir Emeka Offor, the wife of the Governor of Anambra State and National Leader of APGA, Mrs.Nonye Soludo, in witnessing the honor bestowed upon Dr. Adaora Offor. Barr. Ezeokenwa praised her as a remarkable and commendable humanitarian whose virtues stand as an exemplar of humanitarian service.
The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, who singlehandedly hosted the awardee and her teeming friends, associates, guests, and well-wishers at the International Convention Center, Awka, eulogized Mrs. Adaorah Offor and her husband, Sir Emeka Offor, for her enviable works for humanity, recalling their recent distribution of educational materials and hundreds of thousands of bags of rice across Nigeria, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians.
In appreciation on behalf of his wife, Sir Emeka Offor expressed gratitude to all the guests for finding time to celebrate with them. He particularly thanked Governor Soludo for hosting such a magnificent reception for them from his private pocket and prayed that his friendship with Governor Soludo, established on truth, continues to blossom. Sir Emeka also prayed for journey mercies for all the guests.
