The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim earlier today attended 18th convocation ceremony of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Dr. Ibezim congratulated the wife of business mogul and Chairman of Chrome Group Nigeria Limited, Mrs Adaora Offor on the honorary Doctorate, Honoris Causa, in Social Advocacy conferred on her by the university.
Dr. Ibezim urged Sir Emeka Offor and his wife, Mrs Adaora Offor to continue with the humanitarian work that stood her out for the award. He appreciated the university for acknowledging their contributions to the educational development in the state.
Dr. Ibezim restated the place of education as a top priority for building a prosperous and sustainable society, stating that Governor Soludo is passionate about development of education in the state.
He commended parents, guardians and all graduating students for dedicating their time and energy to attain this feat.
