An unspecified number of people have reportedly lost their lives in a fatal motor accident that occurred in Imo state.
It was learnt that two vehicles collided with each other after one of the drivers lost control at Okwudor junction, along Njaba road in the local government area of the state.
The number of causalities are yet to be determined as at the time of filing this report.
The “infamous” Njaba road has claimed many lives following series of reoccurring accidents. Some time ago, over 20 people were killed in an automobile crash, at Njaba bridge.
The same road claimed the lives of seven family members after a fatal crash few months ago.
An Imo indigene, Sunny Ndukwu, has joined other residents to call for serious prayers against tragedy on the highway. He wrote;
Which kind of Marine Spirit is operating at the popular Njaba road!
Men of God should please do something in that area, the rate of auto crash and loss of lives along that road is alarming!
