A suspected thief was taught a serious lesson after deciding to steal a passenger’s phone inside a taxi. It was gathered that the young man snatched the phone from the taxi passenger’s hand and fled.
The cab driver immediately parked his vehicle, got out and gave the suspect a hot chase before apprehending him with the help of passersby.
He was finally caught, stripped and beaten mercilessly by the mob. The stolen phone was also retrieved.
