Zlatan Ibrahimovic got a hero’s welcome as he touched down in Los
Angeles ahead of his eagerly anticipated MLS debut. The former
Manchester United striker was mobbed by adoring fans after landing in
darkness at LAX.
Ibrahimovic, 36, wore a beaming smile and the club scarf as he posed for selfies with supporters.
He is set to make his debut for LA Galaxy against fierce rivals Los Angeles FC on Saturday.
And judging by the mania which met him upon his arrival, Ibra can expect all the fans to be behind him when he makes his bow.
Ibrahimovic, whose last game for United was the 2-2 draw against
Burnley on Boxing Day, is set for his first training session with his
new side today.
