The family of a 14-year-old boy whose body was found in a shallow grave says they are devastated by his killing. Chad Issacs went missing on Monday in Delft, Cape Town area of South Africa. The teenage boy has been described as a friendly, but troubled child. Isaacs had been living with his grandmother for nine years. His mother committed suicide eight years ago.
His grandmother Ingrid Abrahams says her death affected him greatly and caused him to be quite troubled child at times. Yesterday, Issac’s lifeless body was found in a shallow grave with burning debris on top of it. Community members formed a search party and made the gruesome discovery.
Police said the boy sustained a wound to the right side of his head and had a swollen face. At this stage the motive for the murder is unknown and no arrests have yet been made.
Police are investigating the matter.
