How did your journey into music start?
Alright, I am a lover of music, I love good music and I have the passion for good music, I never had the intention of becoming an artiste. I was once an event planner and I have traveled to south Africa. Over there, people were always asking me if I am an artiste or not, before my friends finally dragged me into it. There was a time I got back from South Africa and I was at the airport when a police officer approached me to remove my cap that I resemble KCEE. That was how I started music and since then, it has always been my way. Everything has been going on smoothly with the help of my producer. I just dropped a music which was titled “Ride me Jeje” and the video will soon be out.
Before becoming an artiste, who among the established music artistes in Nigeria did you look up to?
Yes, there is always person or people one will be surely looking up to as example; Dbanj is the artiste I love so much. I also love Wizkid so much; he is artist that I have been willing to work with. I would love to work with and I am looking up to him.
What does it take to be a good producer?
Thank you, being a good producer involves everything, and that everything has to do with creativity. If an artiste is intelligent and has a good talent, it won’t be difficult for producer to identify such talent, with that you will know that the producer is good. Look, if producer is not people and the artist is good, people will not listen to the song, because outcome of song depends and based on producer.
As an artiste what are your dos and don’ts?
Yeah, this is interesting, anyway, I am a straight forward person, I don’t like lying to people, I don’t like to deceive people and I don’t like to get involved in anything that will tarnish my image. I am involved in every other social activities and I love watching football, particularly, the one involving Manchester United Club.
What do you do to enhance your performance on stage?
I do my work out alone with loud music and a lot of water. This moment is always utilized in boosting my creativity. I start rehearsing the way I want to kill the show and the way I want to perform on the show. When I get on stage, satisfying my audience becomes my first priority as I cherish them so much.
What can you say about the kind of videos and music artistes do these days?
I am a kind of artiste who loves good music and as well sing good music; if you listen to any of my songs you will definitely love it. The title of my first song is “Answer the Call” it wakes people up and there are lessons in the song for the people to learn.
How do you cope with female fans?
During my school days, I was a club boy (socialite) and ladies were fond of me, but at a particular age in life you have to get focused and avoid distractions. I had a lot of funny experiences with ladies during my school days but now I make friends with them and nothing more.
How would you rate the quality of music in South Africa with that of Nigeria considering your traveling experience?
Thank you so much, I love this question. When it comes to fashion, boldness and talent, Nigeria is the best. We are more talented than South Africans, and the only thing I can praise them for is their weather and environment. South African citizens also respect Nigerians a lot for wonderful talents the country posseses.
Any final words?
Big kudos to my beautiful fans out there, I love you so much and I will always do. I promise you guys that the sky will be our limit. Just stay strong as usual, love you all.
